Anthony and Ash Burch and Ashley Davis and Justin Yngelmo are writers and game critics who make surreal videos in their spare time (or adorable ones, in Ashley's case). The videos aren't that bad.
Anthony, former features editor for Destructoid and creator of the Rev Rants series (now defunct) currently works at Gearbox Software and co-stars in Anthony Saves the World on The Escapist.
Ash acts in other crap, like the feature-length film Must Come Down, and maintains the blog How Games Saved My Life.
Davis likes to draw Pokémon and under appreciated video game characters on nomarios. She used to do Once Upon a Pixel, which aired on Gametrailers.
Justin constantly shoots web video for everywhere. He's developing a personal website right now.

Ahahahah.
I remember something like this. It was an add campaign for getting people to pay for the new TV service, or something like that.
First a woman shows up on TVs worldwide to talk about the great troubles of the times to hook you in, and then pulls out a picture of the great hero who single handedly assures our safety. That hero is a user-submitted picture. You then see a teenage girl with it in her wallet, an old woman completely smashes all her family portraits to put that picture up instead, people celebrating, yelling, etc.
There was an actual movie to go with the advert. It was probably the finest example of viral advertising I’ve seen. Given to understand the sales for the the service and the movie were phenomenal.
This is not the finest example, but here’s one where someone put in a joke picture. Some guy found a painter who was trying to sell this atrocious painting of a horse with vaguely human-like musculature who appears to be boxing a football player in front of a mountain, and made this huge sarcastic deal over it before buying it, ending the blog entry with a picture of him holding it triumphantly above his head. (He also runs a webcomic which is what most of his fanbase is there for.) A fan did it as a joke:

Iron Man 2 looks pretty okay, but now I really want Iron Man With Duck.
Am I the only one who thinks it’d be cooler if Downey Jr.’s head came up instead?
