If you’re a fan of (A) nostalgia, or (B) feeling warm and fuzzy inside, then you’d be remiss in not picking up the first season of Once Upon a Pixel.
Unlike most of the stuff we do here at Hey Ash, the OUAP DVD is actually kid-friendly. Any episodes with Bad Words™ or Gratuitous Violence™ are clearly marked in the main menu. The DVD also includes a special chalkboard lesson on how to draw your favorite characters in Ashley Davis’ simple style, which, I dunno. I get the feeling kids would dig that stuff.
I’m not saying you should keep your children home from school and just show them Once Upon a Pixel for several hours every day. I’m just saying that you should keep your children home from school and just show them Once Upon a Pixel for several hours every day.
(Also, fair warning: the OUAP DVD shares one episode with the HAWP season one DVD (specifically, the Metal Gear Solid storytime episode).
