I’m going to be on a panel at GDC. I’ll be talking — as I tend to — about Far Cry 2. If you’ve beaten the PC version of the game and still have your save files lying around, I could really use your help.
ENORMOUS SPOILERS FOR FAR CRY 2 AFTER THE JUMP.
During the talk, I want to play through the gunfight where your buddies betray you as a means of showing how the more humanely you acted throughout the rest of the game, the more difficult the endgame ultimately is. I want to show the most brutal, difficult version of the fight, where the maximum number of buddies (six) ends up turning on you.
Unfortunately, my game glitched the ending and my only save file includes five traitorous buddies rather than the maximum six. Given how individually powerful the buddies are, one buddy can make a big difference.
Do you have a save file somewhere near the final buddy battle, where all six buddies spawn and fight you? If so, I could really use it. If you’ve got a save file that fits the bill, please comment below, or email me at reverendanthony@gmail.com.

I think I was misinformed — five seems to be the maximum.
I’ve got my save files for Far Cry 2–all 189 MB of them. If you need them, let me know.
Checked my saves. I have one after that fight, at 96 % complete, and another at 88 %, a good ways before then (rescue Reuben from the air strip). I overwrote saves quite a bit at the end of that playthrough.
