Gravity Hook HD is a good game

Maybe buy it if you’ve got an iPhone or iPad.

It may seem overly punishing or slow the first dozen or so times you play it, but once you begin to understand just how much of the game is really focused on momentum, it becomes an addiction. The gravity bombs represent one of the most straightforward risk/reward systems I’ve ever seen that, when combined with the momentum physics and your ability to bounce off the walls, can lead to some legitimate edge-of-your-seat moments. At least twice, I’ve found myself gritting my teeth and raising my eyebrows as my little dude came within an inch of being obliterated by an orange bomb, only to bounce off a wall and swing past it by a few pixels.

  1. I remember when I could care less about iPhones and the like. They just didn’t interest me in the slightest. But these days I find myself being drawn to them mostly because of the apps. There are so many awesome games that are exclusively on iPhone that I don’t know what to do with myself. I start foaming at the mouth and gurgling. It’s like an entirely new game system. Like how game systems have gone the opposite way in that they can be used for a lot more than gaming.

It saddens me that I’d have to buy an entire iPhone just to play these great games. They seriously need to start porting all of these things to systems. I’m dying over here.

      There’s also the iPod touch.

I’ve used mine as a planner, mp3 player, grocery list, hand held internet browsing, remote trackpad/keyboard for my computer, and games. Buy the good games and apps, and check daily free-app sites for the occasional gem.

  5. I would like to be an extra in “The Ides Of March.” I already sent an email to be considered for one of the waitresses. If that is not possible, I would like to be considered for one of the other roles of an extra on this set. I live outside of the Detroit area and would love to be involved in this project. I work with the theater at Bedford High School and am a journalism major. I am a huge fan of Clooney and absolutely love movies. I’ve worked for minor TV studios and love everything about the business. It would be the chance of a lifetime for me to be a part of this movie. I sent a head shot to the email address.
Thanks for chance to be a part of this project.
    Cindy
