Also, because Justin hasn’t seen all of BB, we traded him out for Grant and Aaron Linde. Aaron Linde is a good friend of all of ours, worked at Destructoid with Anthony back in the day, and worked on the most recent Gears of War. He’s a good dude.
We speak about all of Breaking Bad through the fourth season, so unless you’ve completed the series to this point, don’t listen unless you want all the spoilarzzz.

Yes, I too agree that the majority of people I discover to be fans of both Breaking Bad, and Dexter are the most unexpected of folk!
I was surprised to learn from you that Season 2 had been winged from the get go. Personally, I didn’t notice. In fact, I thought that may have been the case for Season 4, which I hated! It puttered along at a snail’s pace for the first eight episodes. I had hoped it would be the last series due to the fact it feels as though they’re clutching at straws – there’s nothing more that we can learn about these people now wouldn’t you agree?
Watching Walt go out in a hail of bullets attempting to defeat his arch nemesis and failing would’ve been a fitting tribute to the blunderess mess that is the man himself, but they gave him the victory, and it wasn’t particularly a spectacular one – everything happened at a distance and there was no interaction or closure between Walt & Gus (who is most definitely my favourite character – I could’ve watched an entire season about him, pushing the main characters into the back ground).
I’ve heard rumours that they’ve commissioned a fifth series with more episodes than in any previous season :s Honestly, I don’t see where they can go with it, anyone else? Other than Walt trying to cover up his mistakes from his brother-in-law, avoiding prison, or facing the consequences of his actions and seeing how it destroys his family, but who wants to sit through either one of those uneventful scenarios…

About how far into Breaking Bad did you guys talk about? I’m working my way through it right now and I’m about 3/4ths of the way through Season 2.

I’m actually super surprised that you guys believe that they have respect for the characters. I completely felt like, as the series progressed, they sometimes made characters act significantly different from who they were at that moment just for the purpose of progressing the plot.

Lost is complete bullshit, but you ARE remembering the baby thing wrong. The entire group is pissed at Charlie for pretty much the entire season after that, and the only one that even talks to him for a few episodes is the priest.
You guys were talking about Orcs must Die a while back. Have you tried out Dungeon Defenders yet? It is like OMD, but has 4 player Co-Op and is ace
This was fun, but by gawd, you guys make so many mistakes and miss so many things! I don’t remember all of the ones you made at the begining but Cranston won 3 emmys and Jonathan Banks’ biggest claim to fame was as Frank on the 80′s super-awesome TV show “WiseGuy”.
And oh, Season 2 of BB is incredible and very much NOT its worse. It introduced us to Hector Salamanca, a Mexican band sang about Heisenberg, turtles exploded and ATMs fell on heads!
The whole idea of the plain crash was to be an unrealistic Karmatic event. It was very clevrly meant to underwhelm. The show doesn’t want you think this is a real story, it wants you to know it’s art, because only in art can you assure that the bad guys get their punishment. This is a moral tale, but not a religious one.
Yeah………I listened to the whole thing even though I’ve never seen an episode of Breaking Bad. Through podcast I only got a vague idea of how the series works. >.> I like to listen to podcasts while doing things…
But it does sound like an awesome show, it I get time/access I may try it out sometime :3 Luckily I have a horrible memory so I doubt I’ll remember any of the spoilers, or at the very least I won’t remember what happens to who.
I clicked around on the timebar for this episode a few times to see what it was like. Not once did I land on Anthony or Ashley talking.
