If you’re not at all interested in Doctor Who, just stop listening near the end once we start talking about it. There’s nothing in our conversations from that point on that doesn’t include the words “Tennant” or “Moffat.”
You guys spent a bit of time talking about Firefly and stuff. I was wondering you ever watched Buffy or Angel? I started re-watching Buffy and am remembering why Joss Whedon is so good at what he does.
You watch the RedLetterMedia reviews, too!?! Thats awesome! What I did agree with the most in the review was the over-use of the lightsaber and the force-fighting. Episode I – III did destroy all the “magic” about the force and the lightsaber.
I hope he will make a review about the Matrix movies. I LOVE the first movie, but the other two were shit! Like in star wars, they build up the cool Neo in the first movie, with a good story and the awesome fighting at the end. But in the next movies they overdo the fighting and matrix stuuf (till it gets boring) and the story is just stupid…..
YAY Ive been watching Firefly lately and it’s amazing. I haven’t watched any TV in over a year now because I absolutely detest the whole idea but Firefly is pretty different; I think i understand why this got cancelled – it was just too good to be aired on lowly television networks.
Big Brother isn’t from England, the UK was just one of the first to pick it up. Endemol is from the Netherlands. A quick rummage around the internet gives you most of the info, if you care – until you mentioned it, I didn’t, but I was pretty sure it was’nt an English show originally.
The reason the English keep making shows where Big Brother goes wrong is because that is what we want to happen. A quick watch of Mock the Week would show you that – “interactive Big Brother: press red to release a tiger into the house.”
I am glad I am not the only one who thought the Doctor should have gone off with the younger Amy. But I guess they were worried about the same thing when they decided the original Susan would be his grand daughter, they don’t want people to think he is a paedophile.

I have a different take on Amy’s wedding dress. The final shot showed all the dolls and drawings Amy had made before panning to the dress. I drew to the conclusion she is really obsessed with the Doctor, so much so that after he came back she started planning their wedding.
So I assumed she was going to be some sort of psycho-obsessive companion.
I just got the first chance to watch The Eleventh Hour.
And I loved it. Super excited about the 11th doctor.
I’m watching the Eleventh Hour again and I have to say when the little Amy packed her bags to go with the doctor is heartbreaking. Just watching her sit there patiently was incredible sad.
When you guys started to talk about Serenity I paused the podcast and watched Serenity. It was really good.
A couple HAWPcasts ago (think it was the first one of 2010), I heard you two talk about Doctor who for the jillionth time, and paused the HAWPcast.
I then watched every Doctor Who episode aired since 2005 over the course of 2 weeks, then came back and unpaused that motherfucker.
I see your Serenity, DMS, and I raise the *FUCK* out of it to a Doctor Who.

Also, Bleach sucks. Thats kinda the general consensus for anyone who legitimately likes anime; it’s pretty much the equivalent of DBZ, so its basically not intended for people who watch Doctor Who and shit like that.
I also hate death note and evangelion, so were on the same page here anyhow.

You guys ever watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? It’s basicly bad things happening to fairly likeable characters (I like them a lot actually). You should give it a chance, it’s far better then it looks like.
Amy seemed to me to be closest to Donna, of all the companions I know, since she’s so cautious and doubting about what the Doctor says. I’m all for that, Donna was my favourite so far.
Since the Doctor was Amy’s “Invisible friend” more less I don’t see why there should be any romantics going on between them at all.
Yeah, I don’t like the whole romantic thing either, but she did refuse to turn around as the Doctor was changing his clothes. Don’t know if that’s a product of his sexiness or her kiss-o-gramminess.
So I’m gonna go ahead and play a prostitune on my whoremonica on the bus ride to Vegas where I can spend all my hokens in the slut machines, until Amy proves me wrong.
