How to unintentionally bum yourself out for the rest of the day:

While listening to the Tenth Doctor’s regeneration (because you like the music), idly surf Digg and come across this article.

I just accidentally found a way to double the sadness of watching your television friends disappear.

Granted, this only works if you like both Conan O’Brien and Doctor Who. In which case, you are a turbo-nerd.

Where did you find the Ood Song to download that played during his regeneration?

  2. Anthony says:

I just played the episode itself in the background. Which meant, unfortunately, I got to hear “I don’t wanna go” and so forth.

  3. Mirax says:

The soundtrack should come out next month. Also, yay for Doctor Who on your new blog.

Hey Anthony, if I wanted to start watching Doctor Who, where should I start? Also, are you a fan of any other obscure, foreign TV shows? I’m partial to Kamen Rider (from Japan) myself.

I actually just started watching Doctor Who because of HAWP, and I found that starting from the beginning of the 2005 revival works pretty well. I think that’s what Anthony and Ash did as well.

      • Anthony says:

That’s exactly what we did, and exactly what I’d recommend. If you like the 2005 stuff you can go back and dip into the classic series (since they’re part of the same continuity), but it’s nto at all required.

I watch a lot of Brit TV, but little else as far as foreign shows go.

Same thing here. I watched all 4 seasons in 9 days. It was like absorbing the heart of the TARDIS – I burnt my sanity out on that shit by the end, judging by how much I cried when Tennant said “I don’t want to go”. I’m glad I’m stuck watching it whenever they air episodes now.

Holy shit, this works. It’ll totally ruin your day. Seriously.

And thanks Mirax for the heads-up on the soundtrack, I’ll definitely have to pick that up.

  6. Wedge says:

Yeah, it’s been a sad couple of months. Though Conan’s exit didn’t make me want to cry like Tennant. Conan will find more work and still be himself. Tennant won’t be the Doctor anymore…

I’m uber geek because not only do I like dr who and conan, I live in england and find a way to watch and love conan
