Hey,

I just wanted to let you know that I have been watching for a a couple of months on and off and I would like to sign up for the daily feed. I am not to computer smart so I’ll give it a try but I might need some assistance. This is a terrific find and I would hate to lose contact, and maybe never find it again.

i did this a few years ago.
before tennant and his brilliant clothing choices.

i did the tom baker era: coat, twenty-foot scarf, etc.

Stormtroopers? Wow, some people are desperate to dress up in their expensive costumes. Trekkies make sense, stormtroopers don’t. Lame!
P.S. I’ve gone in Stargate (SG-1) clothes to the Ren Faire and a few people played along. Was fun! Now to get a full SG Team to go..

A guy I dated and some of his buddies actually did that in high school. They took their TNG uniforms and tricorders and hit the Ren Faire! Some of the staff played along a bit, but mostly were left alone to be silly nerds.

What would be funnier would be to go to one of those pilgrim reenactments with a bunch of grade-schoolers and do it. The employees have to stay in character no matter what, or so I’ve heard, but the kids will tell you what year it really is, making it all the more fun.

Mind you, it’s not Dr. Who, and I had very little time to prepare, but I did go as a Victorian age time traveller to a Renaissance Faire in Bristol, Wisconsin last year. The costume has been much improved now, but I was lugging around an old camera and tripod and taking surveillance photos and the like.
